This email is to serve as a reminder of the UYSA registration fee increase, as well as a notification of the referee fee change for state gaming leagues.
2019-2020 Player Registration Fee (based on play type)
At this year’s AGM the UYSA Registration fee increase was passed by the state council. The increase is $1.25 per player. This increase was brought on by US Youth Soccer increasing their player fee by $1.25. Below you will find a chart based on play type
2019-2020 Season Team Referee Fee
The new referee fee structure for the upcoming seasonal year has changed. While it is not required, there are a handful of organizations that collect the referee fees up front and submit payment to UYSA on behalf of their teams. Please review the updated age group ref fee chart.
U9&U10 – The center referee will receive a $5 increase per game. The increase is based upon comparisons to regional averages. U9 and U10 games have one referee.
U11-U16 – Each bracket has incurred a 3% adjustment increase. This will help satisfy the cost of unexpected payments to referees such as weather cancellations (air quality, rain, snow), forfeits, etc.
U17-U19 – Each referee will receive a $5 increase per game. The increase is based on regional averages as well as the additional game time of these age groups, which is 5 additional minutes each half.
Below is a chart of previous season referee fees for your reference.
Please let me now if you have any questions about these changes.
